He's What?

2 ! I know..when did this happen? Well it happened today. Somehow..I think it happened last night..Cohen turned into a 2 year old. Not a terrible 2 year old....a Madagascar quoting, clean up song singing, cellphone stealing, brake dance shoulder brushing 2 year old. Don't get me wrong..he takes a good sized helping of time outs and has to hear my mad mom voice more often than should be allowed. But, at the end of the day(no offense to all of the biased moms out there) I think he should most definitely be awarded the coolest, funniest, most creative, and absolutely the most adorable kid ever. This is why:

~Any kid who says yes to and puts himself in a time-out should be rewarded!
~He laughs every time he farts..(thanks dad)!
~Most mothers patiently wait for the day they hear their little ones call them "Mom"..I on the other hand get to be called "Babe" a million times a day and at many various levels of loudness.
~He recently omitted "Dad" from his vocab and has opted for a more appropriate dad name.."Hun"!
~Why call grandparents boring old grandma and grandpa when you can call them "Mom" and "Pop"..I don't know where he comes up with these things.
~Magically he can count to Ten, knows various colors, and somehow learned that things have opposites like off and on and dark and light. I don't remember teaching him these things more than maybe once a month but apparently he knows these things.
~I think that maybe he sleep walks. I woke up the other morning to find him snoring in bed next to me and at some point he had gone through the house and turned on all of the lights.
~He is All Boy....he can box (although his stance is backwards..he actually has a stance)..he plays down-set-hike, fumble, and SteamRoller....He picks his nose(well so do I but who wouldn't pick a good picking nose..I can't blame him)....and he throws balls at everything..my decor, the light fixtures, the couch, the piano, into the sink, and yes at baby Ty..but he pretends that he didn't do it on purpose but is secretly looking at me the entire time it is happening.
~And my favorite..he prays. All by himself. He will take help when it is offered but prefers to mumble into his hands things about baby Ty and cousin Bryce then shouts "Men"(amen).

I realize that I am slightly biased but I have had confirmations that he is a pretty amazing little fellow. I can honestly say most days I can't wait til he wakes up each morning and after his naps because he brightens every aspects of my day. Even when I am fuming upset about something or other..he always manages to say something like "Sorry Babe" or give me the perfect little puppy dog eyes that make all of the naughtiness's and misbehavings seem minuscule. I Love Cohen so much and appreciate the blessing that these 2 years have been and I can't wait to see what he brings to this next year. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOODY LOVES!!

Past Due!

So, Baby #2 was due yesterday. (He is most definitely my child because he is running a little behind.) I have tried just about everything; plenty of raspberry tea, bumpy rides, and I've scrubbed down my whole house. We even had a Madagascar Dance party followed by some intense Karaoke last night, and he only showed up with a few contractions. He must pretty comfy in there cuz he's not even hinting that he is coming soon. I'm scheduled for an induction Thursday so I hope he's ready by then..I know I am! Other than that, we have a busy week ahead..trying to get Cohen to nap again (today is the first since last Monday) and getting Cam through Finals..YEAH! I have tons of pics and events to post but in my usual fashion it might not happen. So, if I don't get pics and stories up..SORRY! Here are a few things that have going on around here:

COHEN:
~Napped in his big boy bed.
~Used his big boy potty.
~Got his first Kiss with the cutest little girly ever Dylan!
~BECAME a BIG BOY! (when did this happen?)
~He is calling me Mum just about as often as he calls me Babe..I have to say I'm a little disappointed with this..I prefer Babe!
~He says he wants his Brother to "COME OUT!" (me too)

Cam:
~Still UPSSING..it's the Holiday season so he is an early early bird!
~Almost done with fall semester and looking forward to a few weeks break!
~Helpful as always..and patient with his hormone ridden crazy wife!

Linz:
~Almost done with Christmas shopping..(thanks to online sales and free shipping)..and a first for me to have so much done before the week of Christmas.
~And WAITING, WAITING, WAITING, to meet this sweet new Baby Boy. I really can't wait..well obviously I can, but I can't help but wonder if he'll have cams blue eyes and my dark hair, or if he'll have my cheeks and cams nice legs. I just want to meet this little guy that I think I know so well all ready but I don't even know a quarter of what he is going to be. It is just so exciting thinking of all of the endless possibilities for this amazing little guy that we haven't met yet. All I can say is that we are so anxious to get him here!

Anyway..I'll try and get some pics to go with the happenings!

Silly Billy!

Everyday, Cohen surprises me with his super silliness. The other day, I caught him smashing his face against the media cabinet door at my mommas..actually I think he wanted me to catch him. He does that often..whenever he does something that he thinks is funny, he waits for me to catch him so we can be silly and laugh together. Let's just say this is an everyday occurrence that I highly look forward to! I sure love my little Boody!!

By The Way.....

We are adding a....

BOY!!!

This cute little alien is due December 6. I'll do the math for ya..I'm 5 months along even though I look like I'm due in 2 months. It's crazy to think that our little fam is growing so fast. Just yesterday Cameron was able to feel him for the first time...he's quit the mover. Me too actually. I've been feeling him for a few weeks now but he just decided to start making appearances yesterday. He's a night owl like me and orange juice really gets him going..just like his big brother. I'm trying to teach Cohen that I have a baby in my tummy and the only response I get is an immediate request to watch Baby Signing Time. When we let Cohen see the ultrasound pics he kept saying (in his mom-can-only-decipher-it way) "There it is!" Maybe he does know what's going on after all. Anyway, we are so excited and can't wait..well at least for a little while..to get him here!!

May 12, 2009

It's been awhile..sorry Mom..so here are a few things that have been going on since ummmm April 1.
The Easter Bunny stopped by awhile ago.

Pool Parties!!

And, a whole bunch of silliness!!

The Gift That Keeps On Giving!

A couple of weeks ago we got a letter in the mail that told us our 4 year old TV has a problem with spontaneously igniting on fire. WEIRD. So all we have to do is send it in so they can destroy it. Then, once it is destroyed we get a $500 Bet Buy gift card in the mail. YEAH Right!! So, being the skeptical detectives that we are; we called Best Buy, the phone # on the letter, went to Best Buy and talked to an associate, then called the # again. So..With 4 confirmations that it was 2-legit-2-quit we boxed up that old 26" Insignia and bid a bitter sweet farewell. Even with all of the confirmations, during the last 2 weeks Cam has called the # every single day asking them if they have sent the card yet. Much to our sleepless nights of wondering if it were ever going to happen..today it did. The Card is here and gone! The funny thing is we were able to purchase a bigger and much nicer TV for the same price I paid 4 years ago. Amazing! We now get to enjoy many more hours of bedroom TV while I rest my prego booty..ssshhh! So Merry Christmas Again honey. I love you!

1 Week Anniversary!

Anniversary of what you might ask? In 12 hours it will be The "Cam Broke his Arm" Anniversary. Yup, it took me a whole week to post about this most momentous occasion. Why is it momentous?..well let me tell you..believe it or not..this is the 1st..I repeat 1st broken bone on his invincible not teenage body. How did he brake it? The only way a Romz brakes bones....Doing something XTREME!! It went a little something like this.....

While I was getting my board waxed(after being pulled all the way down Black Foot). The leader of Ski Team Brian Head..Will..Decided this 10 degree windy snowy day needed something to heat things up. So, without hesitation, he threw out the Dare. "I dare everyone to do a 360 off this jump!" In, Cam's usual leader of the pack fashion..he went for it. He went for it big..so big that he whipped out a 540. A 540 that turned into a 540-crash-and-brake-your-arm. Just as I got to the lift..cam met me at the bottom and told me the genius story. Being the tuff guy that he is we went down the hill one more time, had a photo op...

Then headed in to check out the damage.

Ate some chilli Cheese Fries..

Got some help from First Aide..a bag..which u fill up yourself with snow..

Fit in yet another photo op..

Then headed down to cedar To verify the injury..

And, yup..broken!

And, lucky me..I get to wake up to his beautiful face for the next 6 weeks and get some early morning cuddles that I haven't had in over a year!!YEAH

MidWay to BrianHead

Last Wednesday we had our once-ish a month date night. (GrandMother Karen was kind enough to tend Cohen for us.) Cam really REALLY wanted to go snow-mo-billing and really REALLY wanted me to ride my own sled. So, after a days worth of trying to convince him that I prefer riding passenger for cuddle/warmth purpose....I caved. And, let me tell you, I plan to boycott passenger riding forever. And, these are the reasons why: (the pic is Cam and I on our OWN sleds)

1- It's a bazillion times warmer cuz instead of holding on for dear life you get to actually do something active that actually keeps you warmer.

2- I have a comfy seat to sit on while the boys climb hills and/or get stuck weaving through trees(Cole).

3- And, it's just way FUNNER!!

Pic: All of us at the Cedar Breaks Look out (i think)

Anyway..we did the usual Midway to BrianHead route with the Trav-Nicole, Cami-Cole, and Lonzo-Carly and ate dinner at the lodge. The food was great and the company was wonderful. And we had the best water filler-upper guy in America. I hope the next time we go is sooner than later!

Top 10 Sexiest Men in Uniform!

Apparently a man in a UPS uniform is on the top 10 sexiest uniforms list..yes there is a list..not sure where, but I am told there is. Either way I agree. This is my sexiest man in uniform!

Boody's Been Busy

This is what our little maniac has been up to. And, this is only the half of it!

-Tater Eatin..kind-of. He loved them so much he couldn't get them to his mouth fast enough. This is was he looked like by the time he was full.

The funny thing about these two munchkins is how much they adore each other. As usual, Kaylee spoiled Cohen with tons of kisses (it is so hard to resist those scrumptious cheeks). And, they just play quietly the entire time they are together. Their main occupation this visit was pushing Kaylee around on the car. They seriously did it for a good hour. It really is so precious how much they love each other.

At least he's not a couch potato?!

And, the stink bug sleeper!

ThanksGiving #2

Pie Anyone?

We had an amazing food filled Thanksgiving with my fam. The company was/is wonderful and it is always a treat to eat some of Carolyn's yummy rolls. Kar did a great job with all of the dishes she prepared from scratch..she's quite the little cook. It was tons of fun and It is always so nice to see everyone.

We kind-of do the every other holiday thing with our families. Since we are with my fam for Thanksgiving this year we went with Cam's Fam over the weekend to do Chris's dream of Thanksgiving at the Cabin. And, let me tell you it was amazing. The food was delish..the scenery was beautiful and the company was wonderful as always. The babies were perfect little angels and the boys did the dishes (wow). Cameron even got to carve a turkey for the fist time. (I must say he's a pretty sexy turkey carver) The only things that were missing were Janelle, Jared, their kiddo's and of course SeanDawg..we love you guys and missed you! Thanks Chris and Karen for a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

My Boys staying toasty warm!!

Camping?

Let me clarify what we call "Camping". Most people think camping includes tents, sleeping bags, a make shift outdoor kitchen, and a outdoor toilet/hole in the ground. For us, camping includes a toilet, shower, queen size beds with sheets, a real kitchen, and of course to complete our "Camping" trip a satelite dish and the BYU game. So if you are thinking we look a little to put-together for camping that is why. We have been wanting to go camping with my Mom forever and we finally had a chance. (Thanks Chris and Karen for letting us borrow the Cabin for a weekend.) The little kids caught tons a fish and some cute little horny toads and had a blast playing in the loft for hours on end. The guys played the usual ultra-competitive game of Donkey Ball and indulged in some weekend football. We wanted to do tin foil dinners at the look out on the last night so Cam and I took the 4 wheeler to make sure that nobody was camped there. Luckily no one was there so we hiked around for a minute and then got back on the 4 wheeler to head back. Cam turned the key and hit that start button and nothing happened. 6 more times we tried this and each time....nothing. Needless to say 3 miles later we saw Char Mitchell and she drove us the rest of the way back. It was quit the unexpected stroll back to the cabin. Plus we saw a snake. I thought I handled it pretty well by not passing out. I just froze. For awhile. A long while. Cam had to come help me walk again but at least I was still mobile. To make a long story even longer..we had a blast "camping" and hope to do it again before it gets to cold.

Cam retrieving a Donkey Ball. (how it got in the tree..who knows)

The Beautiful look out spot that was worth the 3 mile hike.

Cohen just gets cuter everyday..it's true..i'm not just a biased momma..maybe I am!

Sugary Sweets!

In the midst of the fews hours of sleep I've had this week I have been blessed with some sugary sweet moments.

~1~ Teething for reallys.

What they say about the fever and runny nose is true. Not to mention the total Oscar the Grouchyness. Anyways, during the wee hours of the morning my sweet baby cuddled up against my chest and drifted off to sleep. It was so precious. I miss those early morning cuddles from way back when he was nursing. Thanks Bood!!

~2~ Strawberry CheeseQuake with a view!

My lovey took me for our occasional Buy-One-Get-One at DQ.(so delish) Instead of turning right out of the drive through to go home he turned left and headed up Bluff. I thought he was turning around when he got into the turning lane to head towards the airport on the hill. But he never U-ied. He just headed up the hill and pulled off so we were parallel with a perfect Temple view. So there we sat..eating our ice cream and enjoying the beauty in front of us. We even got to see a plane land. My Mooj is my perfect someone and takes such good care of our little family. He Completes Me (that's right..I said it)!!!! I love your Bum!!

September 8, 2008

Heaven Sent!

Mom..let me know what you think!

For you Momma!!

My Mom has been gettin on my case about my lack of posts. I thought I was making a valiant effort but apparently I'm falling short. So, at my mother's request I'm going to be posting more often. I love you Mom!! This is the best I can come up with today. I've been attempting some photo editing and these are the results..feel free to let me know what you think....any suggestions help!

School Boy!

After 4 wonderful years, Cam decided to go back to school. He looked so cute on his first day with his backpack and his shoes tied tight. The only catch....all his classes....are online! He works so hard, and I am so blessed to have such an amazing husband.
P.S....doesn't he make a sexy school boy?

Home Away From Home!

We have a new addition..Isn't she beautiful?

MerMan!

The last two weeks we have spent a lot of time in the water. Between the lake and Grandpa Carter's pool, I think we have turned Cohen into a little fish. Last week we went to Quail Lake with the Finks and had a blast. This week we went to Sand Hollow with Jon and Heather. Heather did awesome wake surfing. Clint and Cody joined us later in the afternoon. It's always nice to go to the lake. Thanks Chris for letting us borrow the boat. We will happily run all of the gas out of it! (Sorry for the pic overload..I can't help myself!)

Inside-Out and Backwards!

So, I had Cam get Cohen ready for bed the other night. After they were done they were playing the "throw the baby as high as you can without hitting his head on the fan" game. I was in the kitchen fixing a gourmet meal (as usual) and noticed his onesie was looking a bit snug. So, I went over to investigate and found the Dad had put it on inside-out and backwards. Cohen thought it was hillarious and I'm not sure if Cam ever really got what happened. Needless to say..we were all giggling by the end and Cohen ended up with drool all the way down his front and his back. So cute!

No Cry!

Our little Snugger Bo had his 6 month(at 7 months) shots. And guess what, first shot..didn't cry, second shot..didn't cry, third shot..cried for like two seconds. He is such a stud. His daddy was pretty proud of him. As usual, we did our shot pictures when we got home. Usually he looks a little somber. But not this time. This is the shot I got:

Favorite

My wonderful mom gave me her old Cannon Rebel. (She got the new one with 12 megapixels) And now I'm addicted to taking pictures. This is one of my favorites that I have taken of my little munchkin.

Earthquakes and The Beach

Our annual Romney family Newport trip was a blast. Not only did we get to spend some much needed time relaxing at the beach but we also got to experience a California earthquake. We stood around for a minute wondering what was going on then Karen told us all to get in the doorways. It almost shook the big huge entertainment center over. We were about a 45 minutes away from the epicenter in Chino. It made us all (at least the mommy's) a little nervous for the rest of the day but didn't stop us from going to the beach. We also went to the Dodger's vs DiamondBacks game. It was an awesome game and for the first time we got to stay for the whole thing. Dodgers lost 2-1. In the 8th Diamondbacks got ahead and Dodgers just couldn't score. Cohen cheered almost the entire game. He was shaking his head and played around the whole game. We also had a surprise baby shower for Janelle with the whole fam which was tons of fun. We spent tons of time at our favorite place Great Mex and I almost got the cops called on me for asking this lady at the $10 store how much something was. She said I was harassing her. It was Hilarious. Thanks Chris and Karen for another memorable trip!

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!

So about a week ago we found this show that Cohen loves. For some reason he will only watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse for the entire half hour. He giggles, participates, and loves every minute of it. Thank you Mickey Mouse for giving me a whole half hour to get done whatever I need to do.

July 17, 2008

New Cousins

Some of my cousins came down for Kar and Landon's wedding and we had a little baby gathering afterward at Dave and Judy's house. There was this little package of Enfamil that little Rachel started playing with and some how it ended up all the way down the line to little Hunter. They were all so polite taking it from each other, playing with it, then letting the next baby take it from them. It was fun to see all of the babies together. The two on the far right are my cousin Annie's twins Hunter (the girl) and Roper (the boy) then Cohen, then Rachel (Heather's 2nd baby) and Kayleigh (Heather's oldest.

The 4th

We did the Parade and BBQ at Grandpa's thing on the 4th and It was so much fun to spend the day with family and friends. Cohen was a bit stone faced at the parade but livened up once his Daddy got there. The burgers were good and so were the potatoes(thanks Jackson/mom and maddie). It was a great day!

Morning Monster

When Cohen sleeps on his side he wakes up with a big drool stain across his face and some major half face swelling. It is so hilarious cuz he is so happy to be awake unaware that he looks like a monster....I'm sure his future wife will love these pics!
(they are a bit blurry but still funny!)

Fun in the Sun and Swimmers Itch!

Old News..but..we went to Sand Hollow for the day forever ago with Janelle, Bryce, Chris, Karen, Cam, Cohen, and I. It was tons of fun and Cohen and Bryce had a blast..(so did the adults). Cohen sat in the water all by himself. Even after getting knocked down by a huge wave (as big as they are at Sand Hollow) he still liked it. We did a little wake surfing and called it a day just before the babies got real tired. Although Cam ended up with some super pleasant swimmers itch all over his legs, it was a good time. Thanks Chris for the fun trip!

Our Little Lake Boy!

Thanks Karen!

Beach Baby!

Bryce paused in the middle of a tantrum to flash me this priceless face!

Daddy's Day!!

This was a very special Father's day. It was Cameron's first daddy's day. Cohen is so blessed to have such an amazing Daddy. I am so grateful that Cohen has such an perfect example to look up to. I know that when he grows up he is going to want to be just like his Daddy in every way. And, I am so blessed to be the wife of such an amazing man. He never ceases to amaze me with the wonderful man and father he is everyday. Words can't express how grateful I am to spend eternity with him.

*San Diego*

We just got home from our amazing trip to San Diego. It was such an eventful week I don't even know where to start. First of all, we have a new addition to the family, Aunt Heather. Jon and Heather were married Friday the 13th. The sealing was beautiful, the company was awesome, and the food was delicious. They had a reception on the Harbor in SD and it was so much fun. Although it was far past the babies bedtime, it didn't take away from the festivities. While Cohen and I were walking around the Harbor this huge seagull swooped down right in front of us, dove into the water and come out with the smallest fish in the ocean. As you can imagine Cohen was astonished. He didn't even blink..it was hilarious. We also were able to stay at Janelle and Jared's new place, which was so nice of them and I hope we helped out enough. And, I discovered I'm obsessed with IKEA. So much that I dream about shopping there. It's amazing how much time you can spend there, how much you can buy and how little you can spend.

A whole lot of Sleepin'!

Cohen fell asleep holding Freddy between his Feet!

Angels VS Braves

Go Braves! It turns out the Cohen loves baseball. Yeah! He especially loves baseball and Dip N' Dots. As much fun as we were having enjoying Cohen's first baseball game, it was a pretty good game too. Braves won (as suspected).

Cohen's 1st Baseball Games

Lovin' Dip N' Dots

Do I look like a Dweeb?

THE BEACH!

We stayed in a beautiful beach house about a mile from the beach in Carlsbad(Thanks Chris and Karen). As usual, it was a bit overcast but still tons of fun. The mommies and babies (Britt, Kaylee, Karen, Janelle, Bryce, Tyson Cohen and I) played on the beach while the boys froze their umm....noses off. As cold as the water was, Cohen loved putting his feet in ocean. While we were taking pictures we got splashed by a huge freezing wave. It was tons of fun!
Cam and Jared playing!

Cohen being cute as usual!

Cohen's first dip in the ocean!

Us getting soaked by a wave!

Running off into the sunset!

Bouncey!

Aunt Janelle is letting us borrow her door bouncer thing and Cohen loves it. He mostly spins in circles but he doesn't complain!

This morning I put Cohen in bed with Cameron to play while I did some tidying up. Cohen was yelling like usual and after awhile it got quiet. So I went back to check on them and this is what I found:

Size 3's

Cohen is growing to fast. He's not even 5 months and he's already in size 3 diapers. So is almost 1 Year old cutie cousin Kaylee. I think he's going to be a good sized little kid just like his cousin Bryce.

We Love GrandMother!

We got both Cohen and Bryce to hold still long enough to get a cute pic with Grandma.

Pool Party!

As hectic as this last week was, we had a chance to go swimming at Las Palmas with Jared, Janelle, Bryce, Tyson, and Jon. It was a quick trip cuz we all wanted to get back to see uncle Trav. Cohen is starting to like swimming more and more. I'm sure he'll be a fish like his momma in no time!

Good thing Cohen trusts his daddy!

As with most babies and husbands, it's hard to coordinate a good shot. But they sure had fun!

Aren't my boys adorable!

Cohen finally has an alternative to just milk. Rice cereal didn't work out so we tried oatmeal cereal and he loves it. He can barely contain his excitement in-between bites. It is a crack up. He likes it best when his Daddy feeds him. As with most little boys, he's pretty messy but some how gets to eat most of what gets in his mouth.

We Love You!!

We had to say goodbye to our sweet baby Roo. He peed in our house for the last time about a month ago. He is with an adorable family of 4 sweet girls, a brother named Tommy, a doggy door, and a big backyard. He is so happy and getting tons of love everyday. We miss him but we know he's happy and playing with his toys again!!

Long Time....

I'm not very good at keeping things updated, but I'm working on it. I'll post a few updates.

So Cute, yet so naughty!

Blog Design!

I finally figured out how to change the background and things. This is a very helpful link:

Don't be intimidated by all of the instructions. They are actually really simple. It just takes a little bit of time!

Cutie Patutie!

This is one of my favorite images of Cohen!

Blessing Day Favs!

These are some of our favorite pics from the Blessing Day!

Blessing Day!

Cohen's Blessing day was amazing. We were so blessed to get to share his special day with our family and close friends. Cameron gave a beautiful blessing and Cohen was a little angel all day. Our house was full to capacity but it made it all the more fun to have everyone all crammed together. Our Moms were so much help in the kitchen for the luncheon and all of the food was delicious. It was such a wonderful day. Cameron and I stayed up so late cuz we just didn't want the day to end. We are very blessed to have such supportive family and friends and especially an amazing little baby boy!

I Cut My Hair!

I know this is old news to some, but to those of you who don't know, after about 22 years of long straight hair I finally cut it. It wasn't sad for me at all. In fact, it was a very joyful occasion. It is so much easier and doesn't get in Cohen's face. It took me awhile to recognize myself but I love it. I am donating it to a foundation that makes wigs for children with cancer and other hair loss diseases.

Time Flies!

Time is just flying by. Cohen is already a month and a half and is changing so much everyday. As much as I want him to stay little, I love every little new thing he does each day! We are blessing him March 2nd at 11:00a.m. We are also going to have a luncheon afterward at our house. We hope to see everybody there. If you need directions or anything just give either Cameron or I a call. We hope everyone is well and hope to hear from you all soon!!
